Welcome to Peaceful Parenting, owned and operated by Betsy Schneider, Educator and Parenting Coach. By accessing or using this website, booking a session, or participating in any coaching services offered, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the site or scheduling support.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of this website.

1. Nature of Services

Peaceful Parenting provides parent coaching, educational consulting, and family support services designed to help parents build stronger connections with their children, navigate emotional challenges, and create calmer home environments.

Coaching services may include:

  • Guidance on temper tantrums, emotional outbursts, and big feelings

  • Support with sibling rivalry, bedtime challenges, anger, and anxiety

  • Tools for building healthy parent–child communication

  • One-on-one Zoom sessions

  • Parent workshops, educator trainings, and school consultations

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice.
Betsy Schneider does not diagnose, treat, or manage psychological or medical conditions. Coaching is educational and supportive in nature and should not replace professional mental health services when needed.

If you or your child require clinical or therapeutic intervention, you agree to seek the appropriate licensed professional.

2. Eligibility

By engaging with this website or booking services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child you are seeking support for

  • You agree to participate respectfully and responsibly in coaching sessions

3. Booking, Payments & Scheduling

Coaching sessions are offered Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, and limited weekend hours.
Sessions must be booked in advance through the contact form or by direct communication with Betsy.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed

  • Missed or cancelled appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee

  • Refunds are not guaranteed once services have been rendered

By booking a session, you agree to honor scheduled appointment times and provide at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling.

4. No Guarantees or Promised Outcomes

Every family, child, and home environment is unique. While Peaceful Parenting provides evidence-informed guidance and compassionate support, Betsy cannot guarantee specific results, behavioral changes, or timelines.

Your participation, consistency, and willingness to implement strategies play a significant role in outcomes. You understand that coaching is a collaborative process and not a quick-fix solution.

5. Client Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You are fully responsible for decisions made regarding your child and family

  • You will practice strategies safely and appropriately

  • You understand that coaching tools must be adapted to your child’s needs

  • You will communicate openly about concerns, triggers, or safety issues

Betsy is not liable for any actions you choose to take based on coaching conversations.

6. School Consulting & Professional Services

For school partnerships—including High Tech Elementary or other institutions—Betsy provides:

  • Educator coaching

  • Classroom behavior support

  • Workshops and trainings

  • School–home communication strategies

These services are separate from parent coaching and may require written agreements or administrative approval. Schools remain responsible for student safety, supervision, and environment management.

7. Confidentiality

Peaceful Parenting respects your privacy. Any personal information shared during coaching sessions—such as family challenges, child behavior details, or personal concerns—will remain confidential unless:

  • You request or consent to sharing

  • Release is required by law

  • There is suspected risk of harm to yourself or others

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, coaching materials, downloadable tools, images, worksheets, text, and branding—including strategies shared during sessions—are the intellectual property of Peaceful Parenting / Betsy Schneider.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Sell

  • Modify

  • Share publicly

any content without written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or disrupt the website

  • Attempt unauthorized access

  • Post spam or harmful content through forms

  • Use the website for illegal purposes

The website is provided “as is,” and Peaceful Parenting is not liable for downtime, errors, or data loss.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peaceful Parenting and Betsy Schneider are not liable for:

  • Emotional or behavioral outcomes related to coaching

  • Actions taken by parents during or after implementing strategies

  • Decisions made regarding your child’s care

  • Any damages arising from website use, scheduling, or communication issues

You agree to hold Peaceful Parenting harmless from all claims related to your participation.

11. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
